Rules for having your recipe included in the book We are going to produce a cookbook called "Wild About Florida Cookbook." This cookbook will relate to Florida cooking. We will do an ebook version that will be a giveaway. We may produce limited quantities of them as retail sale books. We will also invite some other authors or interested parties to participate by contributing a recipe. Any contributors will have chance to include a short blurb relating the recipe to their book if appropriate or telling about the recipe’s history and their web site. Only one book gets mentioned in the blurb unless it is a series. Rules are as follows: ******************** Recipe must use a food product grown or harvested in Florida in a meaningful way. (No recipes that have nothing to do with Florida food except one teaspoon of orange juice added in.) *********************** Absolutely no game of hunted animals in the recipe. Caught fish or shellfish are allowed. (Birds, reptiles and mammals used must be able to be purchased in Florida) *************************** All recipes must be submitted here at the forum. not emailed or phoned in to me. Just paste the recipe here in this section. *********************** All recipes must be original and not infringe on anyone's copyright. *********************** Put ingredients first then directions. *********************** Recipes must be submitted by Sept. 30, 2008. ************************ Only the best 25 recipes will be chosen. I will post a list of the winning recipes here but if you include your email, I will also contact you directly. At that time, you can give me the information for your blurb about the recipe and your website information as you want it to appear in the cookbook. We will use some photos so if you have a jpg of the dish we could use it. Blurbs must be no longer than 150 words not counting your web site. (no books that are pornographic or contain hate or racially discriminatory material will be allowed) ************************ Winning recipe contributors will be allowed to post a banner at their site saying "I am a contributing author to the "Wild About Florida Cookbook." I will create one banner or you may make your own. Naturally anyone can give the book away as a promotional item. *********************** We reserve the right to make all final choices of recipes to use. |
